03.28.09 | fort valley, georgia ceremony: wesley chapel methodist church reception: pineola farms

|
oh, what a day! for those who live around here, you know that it started raining on wednesday and didn’t stop until saturday evening. fortunately, ellie & tim did not let all the rain dampen their spirits. the bride & groom actually live in florida but they chose this particular location because it was a half-way point for family and friends coming from florida and kentucky. pineola farms is one of the most unique event facilities we’ve ever been to – a fully renovated 1930’s cotton barn in peach county, just seeping with southern charm and hospitality! thank you for allowing us to photograph your wedding day, ellie & tim! best wishes to you both!

| pineola farms is surrounded by acres upon acres of pecan trees. |

| the bride, just before she entered the church and walked down the aisle to the beatles' "here comes the sun"...so optimistic! |

| these girls certainly know how to make the most of a wet day on the farm! |

| oh, how i will miss the wisteria after we move to washington! |

| i just love this reflection shot art captured! |

| tim's family has a tradition of "pie flippin'." ellie used two hands, but i believe the goal is to flip the pie - a complete revolution - with just one hand. thankfully they waited until after dessert had been served to begin flippin', as a few pies did not survive this fun family custom! |
